Help me my fellow esoteric friends!

What is this:

I bought it today from an antique shop, the owner thought it was a catholic object used in anointing. As I cannot find one online I think she may be wrong.

It is about 10 inches long adorned with ornate metal, very well made with a heavy red glass inset chamber 2 inches wide, depth of 3 inches.. Has a small hole at the very bottom of the “wand”, but the stem does not appear to be hollow. Does not open or unscrew anywhere.

Any help will be much appreciated!

I was wondering why I have been getting emails from people complementing me on my image in Gothic Beauty, the last one I was in was several months ago. Now I understand:)

Just an update and not a very interesting one at that:

I have been very ill for the past 3 weeks, I even had a moderate fever through the runway show...but I stuck through it. (go me!:) I am on antibiotics now and hopefully will be feeling better soon. So to anyone that has contacted me in that time please don’t feel neglected. I will respond soon!

The runway show last Saturday was fun. I enjoyed being a snake woman:)

Odd how I would much rather been one of the side show “freaks” than one of the models. I will post pictures soon, even some with “Jo Jo the Dog faced boy”…my “husband”. There always has to be one freak couple right?

For now here is a little still from a video from the event:

They painted snake eyes on my eyelids and wanted me to close my eyes as much as possible, was a tad difficult while trying to make your way down a runway...Ah the difficulties of “Serpentina the Snake Woman"!

Ventura Fashion Week

I will be in the runway show for the Ventura Fashion Week 2008 "Cirque de Couture" event Saturday, March 1st to benefit Aids Project Ventura. :)

The event is described as "Think Moulin Rouge meets freak show circa 1900" so that sounds like fun!
(I will be more "freak show" than "Moulin Rouge" if you catch my drift:)

Widow on the set of "The Human Contract"

I think this is my favorite image taken of him to date. The serious look suites him well.
(Well in my opinion all looks suite him well...but I think I am probably biased.:)

I don't talk about my personal life much on live journal so to those that don’t know…
Widow is my boyfriend of almost 4 years.
He is my best friend, my soul mate and the most spooky awesome-est being in the world.
(In my humble opinion)
